Last updated: September 19, 2026
These terms govern the use of this website and the heating services provided by Toronto Boiler Installation across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By requesting a quote or authorising work you agree to them.

3. Quotations and Pricing
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. The price ranges published on this website are scope bands intended to show what a job of that type typically costs. They are not binding quotations. A binding quotation is issued in writing after a site assessment and itemises parts, labour, permits, and disposal.
Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Equipment pricing may be revised if manufacturer pricing changes materially between quotation and scheduling, in which case you will be notified before any work proceeds.
4. Diagnostic Fees
A diagnostic service call is $99 to $249 CAD during business hours and $199 to $349 CAD after hours. The diagnostic fee is waived when you authorise a qualifying repair or installation on the same visit. The fee covers attendance, fault diagnosis, combustion analysis, and the written repair-versus-replace comparison.
5. Scheduling and Access
Standard installation scheduling is 3 to 7 business days following quotation approval. Emergency replacement scheduling is 24 to 48 hours subject to equipment availability. You are responsible for providing safe access to the property, the mechanical room, and the equipment removal route agreed at the site assessment. Where access differs materially from what was agreed, additional charges may apply and will be quoted before the work continues.
6. Cancellation Policy
Scheduled appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or where a technician attends and cannot gain access, may be subject to a charge equal to the applicable diagnostic fee. Cancellation of an installation after equipment has been ordered may incur restocking charges, which will be identified before the order is placed.
7. Permits, Inspections and Rebates
Where a TSSA permit is required, we pull it and arrange the inspection as part of the quoted scope. Where you ask us to file rebate applications with Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate Plus or the Canada Greener Homes Grant, we prepare and submit the paperwork on your behalf. Rebate approval and payment are determined by the administering bodies and are outside our control. Those programs generally require an energy assessment before existing equipment is removed, and we are not responsible for rebates forfeited where work proceeds on an emergency basis at your request.
8. Warranty
We provide a written workmanship warranty on labour, issued on completion. Equipment and parts carry the manufacturer warranty applicable to that product. Manufacturer warranties typically require registration, installation by a licensed technician, use of authorised distributor parts, and documented annual servicing. We register equipment at commissioning and use Ontario distributor parts. Warranty does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, water chemistry neglect, freezing, power surge, or work performed by others.
9. Payment Terms
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. We accept cash, credit card, debit, and financing. For installations, a deposit may be required at equipment order with the balance due on completion and commissioning. Accounts not settled by the agreed date may be subject to interest at the rate stated on the invoice.
10. Homeowner Confirmation
Our quote request form requires confirmation that you own the property or are otherwise authorised to request work on it. Where work is requested on a property you do not own or control, you are responsible for having obtained the owner's authorisation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toronto Boiler Installation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from our services. Our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law. We carry $2M commercial general liability insurance and are WSIB registered.
12. Website Content
Technical information, pricing bands, code references, and rebate figures published on this website are provided for general guidance and were accurate at the date of publication. Rebate program terms and amounts are set by third parties and change. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding quotation or a substitute for a site assessment by a licensed technician.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics, and images, is the property of Toronto Boiler Installation and is protected by Canadian copyright law. It may not be reproduced or republished without written permission.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. The terms in force at the date of your written quotation govern that engagement.
